Sunday, March 4th 3-5pm

YOU are the Shakti! No healing space is complete if it is not informed by the community it serves. To encourage a healthy community we will continue to create containers for communication and creativity.

Bring your crafts and conversation on Sunday, March 4th 3-5pm for a Shakti Share Circle. This relaxed informal gathering is for adults to snack, socialize, and stitch (felt, knit, crochet, hand sew, bead, sketch, collage, etc.) Having a project is not mandatory *especially if you are like some of us and need your hands to talk*. All genders are welcome.

What is Shakti?: The Hindu concept of the divine feminine aspect, sometimes referred to as “Divine Mother”. Shakti represents the active dynamic principles of feminine power found in all things.

Harmonics of Soul & Spirit
Friday April 6th • 6:30pm

Vocalization + Motion + Visualization = Manifestation

Marybeth Hallinan, Alexandra Walker & Sarah Aborn invite you to this unique and collaborative workshop. We rediscover our passions, our strengths and our healing abilities using our bodies. Marybeth leads us on an exploration of our fundamental harmonic: uncovering our own unique voice. Alex encourages people to move beyond their held patterns, discover themselves and their gifts through movement. Sarah brings the event to a close with a guided meditation and journaling exercise for integration.
Our brains become hard wired by the thought patterns that run in a steady stream, often in the form of a harsh inner critic.  Through patient awareness, conscious breathing and re-direction of those thoughts we can begin to carve new neural pathways that support our vision and our soul resonance on a much higher frequency. We can reconnect to our essence, our inner and divine nature, thus recommitting ourselves to our true calling.
Tap into the wisdom of your body with voice, dance and meditation!
Where: Bodyworks Depot Square Peterborough
When: April 6th ~ 6:30-8:30pm
Cost: $25

Grace Aldrich has been a licensed massage therapist since 2005. She came to the profession via two ruptured lumbar discs in 2004. After weeks of pain and the threat of back surgery looming, she finally found relief with the help of a skilled massage therapist. The care, deep listening, and profound healing inspired her. For 13 years she has been working with people to help facilitate the relaxation and unwinding of outmoded tension held in their tissues. She is trained in and employs techniques including Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Swedish, Myofascial Release, and Reiki. Most recently, Grace traveled to the Big Island to be trained in the soothing traditional Hawaiian technique of temple Style Lomi Lomi.

Women’s Circle

October 20th, 2017 3-5pm

∞ Women’s Circle ∞

As women in our culture there is a well worn and equally outdated tendency towards competition. We are prone to feel threatened by the other powerful Goddesses around us because there is a survival mechanism buried deep within our brain stem to land the most eligible bachelor. Once upon a time this behaviour propagated our species, now it contributes massively to it’s deterioration.

As we have been reclaiming our power we realize that we don’t need nor want that dependency on another. We have begun deeply honoring our divine feminine while learning to embody our own sacred masculine. Yes, we still want true love, but we don’t NEED it to survive.

We have seen much evolution in our human species and it is exponentially quickening. Huge shifts can be made amongst tribes when we honour our uniqueness and remember our Oneness. When we care for our sisters – shining a light in the dark, and receiving the light when we need it, we all thrive. When we celebrate each other we all heal and grow. We live love. This united love is what can empower humanity to transcend to the next level. Women must lead the way. Because we are the mothers, the sisters, the wives, the friends. And because we are the sexy bitches of the land.
