The practice of Yoga Nidra dates back thousands of years in the Tantric tradition. It’s therapeutic application for modern times cannot be overstated. It is a nervous system tonic- and beyond. Right from the start, Yoga Nidra deactivates the stress reaction (fight/flight/fawn) by activating the relaxation response. Since the stress response is subconscious and automatic, we must learn ways to intervene as well as use skills to break the cycle of stress. Over time, your Nidra practice makes it possible to develop control over the autonomic nervous system and a range of reactions to stress.

Additionally, in Nidra we work with a Sankalpa which is a powerful personal commitment to your evolution. We feather in the Sankalpa at key moments throughout the process, when your brain is in a Delta state and your subconscious is impressionable. This literally re-wires your neural circuitry and has the power to catapult your healing and growth.

Yoga Nidra 45 minute Class:
Caring for the Inner Child


This session is a loving and meaningful offering to yourself. We gently address core wounding, which is typically a result of one or more of our three basic needs not being met as children/young adults. Those needs are: safety, belonging, and dignity. This deeply relaxing and healing journey will tend to the imbalances left by this primal wounding, as we weave our sankalpa through the chakras, all the while offering our inner child attention, curiosity and pure presence.

Yoga Nidra is a deeply relaxing, meditative practice done laying down in savasana (corpse pose). The practitioner is guided through pancha maya kosha (the five layers of self) in a systematic method that promotes deep, nourishing rest and transformative healing. It is accessible to nearly everybody and easy to implement as a regular practice.

PRIVATE & GROUP COACHING

5 session series (over zoom) will follow the UPLEVEL Workbook, giving you lifelong practical tools to release stress, develop resilience, extract lessons from repeated patterns, come to appreciate why those patterns are there in the first place and how to move beyond them, cultivate self love and acceptance, and re-wire limiting beliefs throughout your bodymind.

SESSION 1 - EARTH: Learn grounding strategies that work for YOU, connect in with the divine feminine, release stress, receive nourishment, relax. Begin to NOTICE habituated patterns as your "protectors" with kindness and appreciation.

SESSION 2 - WATER: Make space for your emotions, learn EFT Tapping, continue to increase awareness around conditioning/programming and begin to introduce new ways.

SESSION 3 - FIRE: get STOKED for a daily exercise routine. get RHYTHMIC with positive practices to replace those that are falling away. Commit to daily rituals.

SESSION 4- WIND: Pranayama (conscious breathing techniques) and we will work with unconditional love of yourself and others.

SESSION 5 - SPACE: Learn the potency of *pausing* and allowing space in your life. Learn how to meditate in silence and we will discuss your connection with spirit and how to align more deeply with that.

Along the way you will receive tailored guided meditations and notes from the sessions.
