     EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) is an evidence based self-help method that can be applied on anything that elicits a challenging emotional response. Clinical trials have shown that EFT Tapping is able to rapidly reduce the emotional impact of memories and incidents that trigger emotional distress. Once the distress is reduced, removed, and re-framed within a context of unconditional self acceptance, the body can often rebalance itself and heal. EFT uses elements of Cognitive Therapy and Exposure Therapy, combined with Acupressure, in the form of fingertip tapping on 12 stress-reduction meridian points. WHAT IS TAPPING?

Tapping (EFT or Emotional Freedom Techniques) is a gentle yet  powerful self-help tool that reduces the emotional impact of memories and incidents that trigger stress. Tapping combines coaching techniques with acupressure in the form of light fingertip tapping on acupuncture points. The tapping acts as a circuit breaker on the electromagnetic signal of the stress and diffuses its emotional trigger.

There’s a saying in the Tapping world to “try it on everything.” Tapping addresses the entire range of stressful experience, from small annoying circumstances, to phobias and compulsive behaviors, to the most profound traumas.

WHAT MAKES TAPPING WORK?

Stress and trauma are stored in our limbic system, one of the oldest parts of our brain. Our limbic system developed pre-verbally, which is why years of talk therapy often do not reach the core energetics of our stress.
